Sunday 12/1 Church Christmas Caroling and Supper at 4:00 - Everyone is welcome to attend. If you are able to come, please sign up on the bulletin board and indicate how many people will be singing and how many people will be eating. If you are able to bring a side dish or help with the meal, please sign up using the Sign-Up Genius link that was sent out.

Monday 12/2 - Bloodmobile - It's our church's turn to provide food for the bloodmobile canteen on Monday, December 2.  There is a sign up sheet on the women's bulletin board for those who are able and want to donate food.  Thank you in advance for your willingness to serve our community.

Saturday 1/11 - Birthday Celebration - Save the date to celebrate! Ladies’ Coffee, 9:00-11:00 AM. Details to follow.

Goodfield Distribution Center - Effective January 1, 2020, the Goodfield Distribution Center is discontinuing its furniture distribution effort. Any questions concerning furniture and/or mattress distribution should be directed to Bro. Matt Sauder. Also, there is a great need for clothing, shoes, pillows, and bed sheets to send overseas, they are running low.

Cakes for the Home - There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board for those who wish to donate cakes to the Nursing Home during the year 2020.

Christmas Cards for those on the Mission Field - boxes have been placed in the back hall if you would like your Christmas Card mailed to the Leman family and Sis. Rachel Fehr.

HarvestCall’s 2020 Winter Rebuilding Ministry will be in Orange County, Texas - Forty volunteers are needed each week starting January 5, 2020 and continuing through March 27, 2020. Please consider giving of your time and talents to minister to those in need. Skilled tradesmen AND unskilled workers are needed, as are those with a passion to share the gospel with those we serve. Online registration is required for team members and opens at noon Central time Monday, November 18 at www.harvestcall.org

Rotating Potluck Signup - Would you like to get to know your church family better? A great way to do this is to participate in rotating potluck. Enjoy dinner and fellowship just 4 times a year with a different combination of people each time. Please sign up on the bulletin board before December 8th. If you are already participating you will automatically be included next year.

  • The Bible Class Singing Practice at Noon-  Students are to meet in the Bible Class room to practice for the Harvest Dinner. Bro. Phil would really appreciate all the High School students to be there as this is one of the last times he will have to practice.
  • Pizza Dinner and Thanksgiving Hymn Sing at Church at 5:30 -  We will be sharing a meal together starting at 5:30 pm before the singing. We will be serving pizza so please sign up if you are planning to attend and note how many people will be eating. You can access the sign up for pizza & additional food items on PerfectPotluck.com.   • ACYF Evening in Elgin - The Bible class plans to leave around 2:15 pm from the High School, eat supper on the way, and be back around 10. We realize this will be a late Sunday night, but if you have High School students, please encourage them to go!

Thursday 11/7 - Helping Hands is from 9:00-3:00 - All are welcome.

Friday 11/8 - Hospital Lumiere Benefit Auction at Five Points - The food court and silent auction start at 4:30. The live auction begins at 7:00. This annual fund-raising auction is a critical part of Hospital Lumiere’s funding and your support is appreciated.

Saturday 11/9
  • Sis. Helen Brown’s Funeral at 10:00 - visitation is on Thursday from 4:00-7:00 at from 9:00-9:45 on Saturday.
  • ACTIVE Boys Leaf Raking - If you or someone you know would like your yard raked, please contact Sis. Katie Isaia (309-339-7074, katieisaia28@gmail.com) by Thursday.

Saturday 11/16 - Harvest Dinner at the Fellowship Hall at 6:30 - The Bible Class will be hosting a dinner to raise funds for their work trip to Jamaica next spring. If you would like to support them please make your reservations by today 11/3. A minimum donation of $40 per person will be collected the night of the dinner. Table reservations for groups of eight may be made. Contact sisters Jennifer Feucht or Lynne Hodel
