Thursday 4/3 - Heart House Spaghetti Supper and Bake Sale from 3:30-7:30  - Dine in and carry out  are available.  Baked items (especially baked breads and yeast rolls) are needed for the bake sale and should be dropped off to the Heart House Community Room by noon on April 3rd.   


Saturday/Sunday 4/5-6 - Andy Heckman Family Benefit - On Saturday, April 5th there is a bake sale from 10:00-1:00.  Baked goods should be delivered to the High School Lobby between 9:00-10:00.  On Sunday, April 6th, there will be various music groups, food, and a silent auction.  Please contact Sis. Rena Hodel or Sis. Andrea Harris if you have any questions.  


Saturday 4/5 - Cemetery Cleanup at 8:00 - Please bring rakes, blowers, etc. Please remove any decorations prior to the 5th.


Sunday 4/6 - Silver Lining Collection - Make checks payable to the Apostolic Christian Church with Silver Lining in the memo line.  If anyone has any additions, deletions or corrections to the Silver Lining subscription list, please contact Sis. Barb Schwind or Sis. Judy Sauder with that information.

Saturday/Sunday 4/5-6 - Andy Heckman Family Benefit - Andy Heckman from Roanoke, has dealt with a long term illness resulting in Andy's death on Feb. 5th of this year.  He is survived by a wife and 2 school aged daughters.  On Saturday, April 5th there is a bake sale from 10:00-1:00.  Baked goods should be delivered to the High School Lobby between 9:00-10:00.  On Sunday, April 6th, there will be various music groups, food, and a silent auction.  Please contact Sis. Sunday 3/16 - Family Hymn Sing at the Nursing Home at 1:30

Wednesday 3/19
  • Scripture Memory Program - We will have a shortened service this Wednesday evening followed by the Scripture Memory Class singing their songs and verses they learned this year. The K-5th graders should meet downstairs at their normal time to practice for the program
  • H.O.P.E at 7:30
  • High School Worship on Wednesday - will meet at 7:00 at Bro. Scott Luginbuhl’s home

Saturday 3/22 - Jamaica Work Trip - The Bible Class juniors and seniors will leave for Jamaica this Saturday.  Please keep them in your prayers

Sunday 3/23 Helping Hands Collection -   There is a need for new or used spools of thread, 12 inch or longer plastic zippers (no metal zippers please), and used eyeglasses. Collection boxes for these items will be in the east and west entries until next Sunday

A community benefit for the Heckman family will be held at the High School gym.  On Saturday, April 5th there is a need for baked goods.  If you are interested in making something please deliver to the High School Lobby between 9:00-10:00 that morning.  The bake sale is from 10:00-1:00.  On Sunday, April 6th, there will be various music groups, food, and a silent auction.  Please contact Sis. Rena Hodel or Sis. Andrea Harris if you have any questions.  Thank you in advance for supporting this local family in need.  

Apostolic Christian Publications is now located at the Goodfield WR Distribution Building - In addition to hymn books, Sunday School material, etc., they have also added Zion’s Harp CDs and new Bible studies.  A list is posted on the bulletin board.

Thank You - The Fellowship Hall Trustees want to thank everyone who assisted with the annual cleaning last Monday evening.  We certainly appreciated your efforts in completing this important task.  The leftover items found at the F.H. have been brought over to the church and put with the lost & found items from the prior week’s church cleaning.  Be sure to check the tables again.

Yordys - There is a weekly sign up sheet on the bulletin board by the dining room for those who like to sign up for a week to keep the Yordy family in prayer.

Director of Nursing - Our Roanoke Home is in need of a Director of Nursing.  They are looking for a person with a heart for service who will lead the Nursing Department and enrich the lives of our residents.  If you are interested, please contact Bro. Richard Isaia or visit the Home’s website.  Additional information is posted on the bulletin board.

New Convert - We rejoice with David Leman (Bro. Dennis and Sis. Karen Leman) that he has answered the call of Jesus to repent and follow Him.

Timber Ridge/Home for the Handicapped Collection - Please make checks out to the Apostolic Christian Church with Timber Ridge in the memo.

Family Hymn Sing at 6:30 - The 3rd-8th grade Sunday School students will be singing for us. They should be at church at 5:55.

 

Monday 3/3 - Annual Church Cleaning at 6:00 PM

Those who prefer to help during the day are welcome to do so.  In the evening, starting at 6 PM, Bro. Bob Ott will be at the NE door to direct you to the area where your help is needed.  Thank you in advance for your support.

The Sunday School has four benches they are no longer using.  Anyone who is interested should contact Bob Ott today or Monday, as they will be removed prior to church cleaning Monday evening.

The ladies' restroom remodeling project is completed.  Thank you for your patience the past two Sundays.
