Sunday 12/9
● Church Maintenance Fund Collection
● 2013 Rotating Potluck - The sign up sheet for the 2013 rotating potluck will be taken
down today. If you want to be added to list, please sign up on the sheet posted in the
back (North) hall over the lunch hour.
 
Wednesday 12/12
● ACTIVE - The ACTIVE boys will be going Christmas shopping this Wednesday. They will
be shopping for toys for the Heart House in Eureka. Each boy should bring some of their
own money to put towards the shopping expense. The boys should meet at 6:30 in the
Commerce Bank parking lot. They will be brought back to our church after shopping.
● Bible Class - The Bible Class is meeting this Wednesday at 7:00 at the Fellowship Hall.
We will be baking cookies, wrapping presents and practicing Christmas Program songs.
We should be finished around 8:30.

Wednesday 12/19 - There will be Joy
There will be a program of scripture and song on Wednesday night, December 19th at 7pm,
honoring Jesus, our Savior, and remembering His birth

Sunday 12/23 - Special World Relief Collection for People Affected by Hurricane Sandy
World Relief Assistant Coordinator Position

The Material Aid and Distribution Center in Goodfield is seeking a Brother to volunteer for the
position of Assistant Coordinator. This position consists of assisting the Coordinator by managing
the distribution of food, clothing, furniture, medical equipment and a number of other items
throughout our Apostolic Christian Church distribution centers. If you are interested in more
information of this important work, please contact our church representative Bro. Rick Gerber

2013 Phone Directory
It is time to update the church directory for 2013. Please submit any changes by either filling
out a card and dropping in the box located in the North hall or by filling out the form located on
the church website (http://www.roanokeacchurch.org/directory.html) A preview file of the 2013
directory has been uploaded to the website and can be accessed via the above website. Please
check this file to make sure your information is up-to-date.

Looking Ahead:
Friday evening 1/25 - Parenting with a Purpose - Part 1 - ACCFS will present Parenting with
a Purpose. This 2 part seminar will be held at the Fellowship Hall. Bros. Brian Sutter and Craig
Stickling will be the presenters.

Saturday morning 1/26 - Parenting with a Purpose - Part 2

World Relief Winter Work Project 2013 at Cullman, AL (near Athens) - The WR Winter
Work Project will be a continuation of last years project in Cullman, AL (near Athens) to build
and repair homes damaged by tornadoes. It will begin on January 7. For more information and
