Sunday 12/2 - All Church Caroling and Supper at 4:00
The 12th Annual All Church Christmas Caroling and Supper is today. For those who have
signed up to carol, there is a list posted on the north hall bulletin board with your group number
and where you will be singing. Please be at the Fellowship Hall at 4:00.

Monday 12/3 - Bloodmobile at the American Legion from 12:00-6:00

Tuesday 12/4 - Helping Hands
The last Helping Hands for this year will be Tuesday from 9:00-3:00 in the church basement.
Lunch is provided.

Wednesday 12/5
● Business Meeting - The Annual Church and Nursing Home Business Meeting will this
Wednesday in place of church services. The Trustees encourage all to make an effort to
support this meeting with your attendance.
● Scripture Memory Class - Scripture Memory Christmas Party that will be held this
Wednesday at the Roanoke Apostolic Nursing Home. We ask that each student "checkin"
along with their parent in the lobby, before delivering their gift to their resident. Gifts
should be delivered between 6:45 - 7:15. Immediately following church services, please
pick up your child in the back of the nursing home at the multipurpose room.
● HOPE - HOPE will meet this Wednesday at 7:30 in the World Relief room. The girls can
be picked up after church.

Sunday 12/9 - Church Maintenance Fund Collection

2013 Rotating Potluck
It’s time to set the schedule for the 2013 Roanoke church rotating potluck. If you have any
additions, deletions, or other changes to the existing list, please note them on the sheet posted
in the back (North) hall. All are welcome to participate.

2013 Phone Directory
It is time to update the church directory for 2013. Please submit any changes by either filling
out a card and dropping in the box located in the North hall or by filling out the form located on
the church website (http://www.roanokeacchurch.org/directory.html) A preview file of the 2013
directory has been uploaded to the website and can be accessed via the above website. Please
check this file to make sure your information is up-to-date.

Wednesday 12/19 -There will be Joy - Celebrating the Birth of Jesus in Scripture and Song at
7:00

Friday evening 1/25 - Parenting with a Purpose - Part 1 - ACCFS will present Parenting with
a Purpose. This 2 part seminar will be held at the Fellowship Hall. Bros. Brian Sutter and Craig
Stickling will be the presenters.

Saturday morning 1/26 - Parenting with a Purpose - Part 2

World Relief Winter Work Project 2013 at Cullman, AL (near Athens) - The WR Winter
Work Project will be a continuation of last years project in Cullman, AL (near Athens) to build
and repair homes damaged by tornadoes. It will begin on January 7. For more information and
