Wednesday 10/11 -  Apostolic Christian Life Points by Bro. Ron Messner - This will be in place of Wednesday evening services and will be at the Fellowship Hall

Saturday 10/14 - Bible Class and Young Group Fish Fry at Bro. Greg Moser's - 5:30 supper - arrive anytime after 5:00.  Games and bonfire singing to follow.

Sunday 10/15
  • Peoria Rescue Mission Services -  The group going to the Peoria Rescue Mission for church services will leave from the Church parking lot (West side) at 7:15 AM.  For additional information see Bro. Tim Martin
  • Family Hymn Sing at the Home at 1:30

Wednesday 10/18 - Nursing Home Update - The Board of Directors and the Administration at the nursing home would like to hold an update meeting on Wed. Oct. 18th at 7pm in the Fellowship Hall.  This meeting is intended to update the congregation on key financial information, occupancy trends, and volunteer opportunities.  Please plan to attend this meeting as your presence would be very much appreciated.

Sunday 10/22 - Roanoke Home Collection

Saturday 11/4 - Harvest Dinner at 6:30 - The Bible Class will be hosting a Harvest Dinner to raise funds for their work trip to Jamaica next spring. To support this endeavor, please make your reservations by October 25 to Sis. Jenny Hodel (phone/text: 256-5522, email: jenny@hodelbros.com). A minimum donation of $40 per person will be collected the night of the dinner. If desired, table reservations for groups of eight can be made and valet parking will be available.

Friday 11/10 - The Apostolic Christian HarvestCall Benefit Auction for Hospital Lumiere - will be held at Five Points in Washington. The food court and silent auction start at 4:30. The live auction begins at 7:00. Silver Lining Survey - The Silver Lining is seeking input from readers AND non-readers of the magazine to determine the best way to publish Apostolic Christian-related content that everyone in the brotherhood finds beneficial and easy to access, whether in print, online or some other format.  The link for survey is in the emailed announcements. For those who don’t use the internet, the survey will be in the October issue.
