11/15/20 Announcements

 November’s Collection - Gateway Woods

Sunday 11/15

  • 9:00 Service and Sunday School Only - Due to the local uptick in COVID-19 cases, there will be no snacks following the service and no second service. These extra precautions are an effort to continue having in-person services rather than canceling church. We are prayerful this will be for just a period of time.

  • Sunday 11/15 - ACYF is Cancelled - NO replacement activity is being planned.

Monday 11/23 - Registration for HarvestCall Winter Rebuilding Ministry in Florida Opens - Forty volunteers are needed each week starting January 10, 2021 and continuing through March 31, 2021. Skilled tradesmen AND unskilled workers are needed, as are those with a passion to share the gospel with those we serve. Strict COVID-19 risk mitigation practices will be practiced. Compliance is required. Those interested in participating should read the full COVID requirements posted on the website prior to registration. You can register at:  www.harvestcall.org

Thursday 11/26 - Thanksgiving Day Service at 9:45 - There will be no Wed. evening service on 11/25.  The Thanksgiving Family Hymn Sing that was planned for 11/22 will be merged into our Thanksgiving Day Service

Wednesday 12/16 - Sunday School Christmas Program at 7:00 - This is a date change from Sunday 12/13

Other Ways to Serve - After much prayer, the Wichita, KS Apostolic Christian Church has felt God’s leading to start the journey to bolster their small church congregation. They have identified the following needs and invite the brotherhood to pray with them for:

  • Families, couples and singles, who have a heart to support a small church, to relocate and become part of their church family. There is a special need for young couples with children and for middle-aged couples with teenage children.

  • Sunday School teachers and song leaders to use their gifts and talents for God’s glory in their congregation.

  • Godly wisdom to know how to continue outreach into the Wichita community.

  • Unity and love within the church as they work together.

If you (and your family) feel God calling you to use your gifts and talents to serve in the Wichita congregation or would like more information, please talk with your local elder and then contact, Sis. Amber Miller at amiller@harvestcall.org or 765.250.4295 (ext. 108).
