Friday 11/30 - “Biblical Perspective of The Mideast Conflict”

November’s Topical Bible Study will be at the Fellowship Hall this Friday at 7:15.  Bro. Ken Rinkenberger will speak on the Biblical Perspective of the Mideast Conflict. 

Sunday 12/2 - All Church Caroling and Supper at 4:00

The 12th Annual All Church Christmas Caroling and Supper is planned for Sunday, December 2nd at 4:00pm.  Everyone is invited.  If you plan to attend, there is a sign-up sheet on both the north and west bulletin boards.  There is also a sign-up sheet on the west bulletin board for food donations and workers to help with this activity.  If you sign up to bring food, remember to also sign up on the list of those planning to attend.

2013 Rotating Potluck

It’s time to set the schedule for the 2013 Roanoke church rotating potluck.  If you have any additions, deletions, or other changes to the existing list, please note them on the sheet posted in the back (North) hall.  All are welcome to participate.

2013 Phone Directory

It is time to update the church directory for 2013. Please submit any changes by either filling out a card and dropping in the box located in the North hall or by filling out the form located on the church website (http://www.roanokeacchurch.org/directory.html) A preview file of the 2013 directory has been uploaded to the website and can be accessed via the above website. Please check this file to make sure your information is up-to-date.

The fellowship hall trustees would like to thank all who contributed to the special collection for the new sound system.  Due to your generosity, the collection met the need for the entire project.  We expect to start the project by the first of the year. Once again, thank you.

Friday evening 1/25 - Parenting with a Purpose - Part 1 - ACCFS will present Parenting with a Purpose.  This 2 part seminar will be held at the Fellowship Hall. Bros. Brian Sutter and Craig Stickling will be the presenters.

World Relief Winter Work Project 2013 at Cullman, AL (near Athens) - The WR Winter Work Project will be a continuation of last years project in Cullman, AL (near Athens) to build and repair homes damaged by tornadoes.  It will begin on January 7. World Relief Medical Committee

A Medical Committee has recently been established within World Relief.  This committee is requesting anyone who has or is currently pursuing a career in a medical or dental field to fill out the brand new questionnaire on the World Relief Website.  The purpose of this questionnaire is to establish a registry of health care providers that the Medical Committee will use to keep you updated with information on medical activities and opportunities within World Relief.  To register, please go the the World Relief website at www.acworldrelief.org once there, click on the “Health Care Provider Registry” link found below the sub heading “How You Can Help”.  If you have any concerns or questions regarding this, please send your email to medical@acwr.org  Thank you in advance
