Help with Sunday Services - The Home is looking for some volunteers to help host the church service on Sunday morning. This could be a once a month commitment. You would come at 9:30 and help set up the room, welcome the residents and hand out the song books and bibles. You are back out to church by 11:00. This church service is very important to the residents, both Apostolic and our community residents. They are no longer able to go to church and they express time and time again how much this service means to them.
Volunteer Positions - We are also putting out a plea to all the churches in Roanoke-Benson area to fill volunteer positions. Many of our older brothers and sisters that have been faithful volunteers for many years, are now unable to help out at the Home because of failing health. It is now time for the next generations to step forward to make this Nursing Home your mission. This can be a 30 minute job to a two hour job once a week or once a month. Please consider using your gifts that the Lord has blessed you with to touch the lives of our elderly. Contact the Home for information on volunteering.
Father/Son Campout Thank You

World Relief Oklahoma Update
Through the generous support of many, Family Food Boxes have been sent to Oklahoma. Each box contains enough food and personal care items to sustain a family of four for 4 or 5 days, and the last item to be placed in the box is a Bible. The USA Committee is assessing the needs of this community and evaluating possible ways to assist them in their recovery. Future opportunities will be communicated through the World Relief email list. If you are not already on this list, please sign up by visiting the World Relief website. www.acworldrelief.org
