1/8/17 Announcements

Wednesday 1/11 - HarvestCall Family Night at the Fellowship Hall From 5:30-8:00  - A meal is provided from 5:30-6:30.  There will be 3 different projects.  Families are encouraged to work together so parents & older children can assist the younger ones. This year, no baby sitting will be provided. Bro. Rob & Sis. Gina will tell about the Renault S.S.; Bro. Luke -water project & Sis. Leah will teach us a Creole song "It's an Honor to Serve"

Saturday 1/14 - Washington Young Group Invite at the Goodfield Fellowship Hall at 2:15

Sunday 1/15 - Peoria Rescue Mission Services  - If you would like to come along and help with the singing, please meet us at Bro. Tim Hohulin's, at 7:15 AM.  We will travel in Bro. Tim's van.  In order to get a count, please contact Bro. Tim if you plan to come.

  • Route 24 Singing at Gridley is Cancelled - due to health issues of the host

Saturday 4/22 - 2017 Midwest Food Bank Gala Dinner and Auction at the New Food Bank - The Roanoke committee is currently seeking homemade items, themed dinners or events, and business products or services as auction items. Cash donations can be used by the committee to purchase items for the gala or as Benefit sponsorships. Tickets to the event are also available for $50 per person. Tables of up to 8 seats may be reserved for groups. Deadline for donations and tickets is March 1st. Please contact Bro.Jon or Sis. Jill Fehr for ticket reservations or donations. Nursing Home - The Home is looking for brothers who would consider giving their time to stop  in at the Home at noon to offer a prayer for our residents noon meal.  This could be an option of either 1 day a week or being on call as a sub.  Please contact Sis. Patsy Kaeb at the Nursing Home if you are interested.

Looking Ahead

Nursing Home Services - This winter, if church is cancelled due to inclement weather, then the Nursing Home will also cancel their service.   

Saturday 1/21 - Save the Date for Ladies’ Coffee Hour at  9:00 at the Fellowship Hall  - for all ladies attending Roanoke church, high school age and above. More details will follow!
