Sunday 2/19
  • Family Hymn Sing at the Home at 1:30
  • ACYF in Congerville -Bible Class students will leave from the high school at 5:00 PM.

Wednesday 2/22 -
  • Deadline to Sign Up for the Small Group Bible Study on II Timothy - The winter session will begin in February and will be 8 sessions long, with each session lasting approximately 1hr. We are excited to introduce this study which will carry on the discipleship and mentoring themes we have focused on recently. You may sign up by filling out a form in the North Hall or by calling or e-mailing Bro. Jeremy Knepp.
  • Bible Study -  The Gospel in the Old Testament, Foreshadows of Christ
  • 2/22 - Moses - Bro. Jeff Wiegand (Goodfield)
  • 3/1 - Judges -  Bro. Byron Stoller (Gridley)

Saturday 2/25 - ICC/Bradley Benefit Dinner is at the Morton Fellowship Hall - Dinner will be served from 5:00-7:00pm with a short singing program around 6:30. (Take out meals will be available at the fellowship hall's phone number(309) 263-0683) All proceeds go to help fund the Young Group service projects throughout the year such as Thanksgiving Baskets and the Spring Break Mission Trip with Harvest Call.

Sunday 2/26 - Collection for the Home for the Handicapped

Saturday 3/4 - Annual Sunday School Spaghetti Supper - There are two separate signup sheets on the north hall bulletin board. One for food donations from the congregation and a separate sign up for the parents of the bible class students.

Sunday 3/5 - All Church Potluck and Hymn Sing at 4:30 at the Fellowship Hall- A new sign-up sheet has been posted (by the ladies lounge in the North hall).  Please sign up by Wednesday March 1 in order for the correct amount of meat to be ordered. Meat and table service will be provided, please bring a covered dish to share.  All are welcome!

Saturday 4/1 - Sister’s Heart Women’s Singing/Recording at Princeville - Registration is due by March 1st. Additional information is on the printed announcements and bulletin board.  Contact person is Sis. Lydia Bertschi.

Saturday 4/8 - Making Health Care Decisions at the Gridley Fellowship Hall  9:00 - 11:00  - The presentation will cover health care choices, end of life decisions and help brethren navigate through these many decisions.  Many times , we are faced with a sudden change in health. It’s important to discuss health care decisions before it happens.   We encourage seniors and children of aging parents to come.  More information and a signup sheet  is posted on the bulletin board.    Contact Sis. National Church Outreach Ministry Survey  - Anyone who attends one of our churches is encouraged to complete this survey.  A link to the survey will be  e-mailed with the announcements. It will take between 10-20 minutes to be completed online.  Paper copies are available in the north hall for those who do not have internet access.

Looking Ahead

Friday 4/7 - Save the Date: Ladies' Night -  will be on Friday evening , April 7. This is for all women attending Roanoke church, high school age and above. More details will follow.

Saturday 4/22 - 2017 Midwest Food Bank Gala Dinner and Auction at the New Food Bank - The Roanoke committee is currently seeking homemade items, themed dinners or events, and business products or services as auction items. Cash donations can be used by the committee to purchase items for the gala or as Benefit sponsorships. Tickets to the event are also available for $50 per person. Tables of up to 8 seats may be reserved for groups. Deadline for donations and tickets is March 1st. Please contact Bro.Jon or Sis. Jill Fehr for ticket reservations or donations.
