Sunday 5/27 - Due Date for Pack the Bag with Love
We have the opportunity again this year to fill "Journey bags" for children needing to be taken from their homes and placed in foster care. This project will provide personal belongings and comforting items for displaced children. These are items they often have to leave behind due to the unfortunate circumstances they innocently find themselves in as they are removed from their homes.
Our goal is to fill 100 book bags, but the process will be a little different than last year. Each of the needed items is printed on a card. If you would like to participate, you may pick up the cards in the back hall. Feel free to take as many as you would like. Please return your items to the box in the South East Entry by Sunday, May 27. During VBS, the Bible class will fill the book bags with the donated items.
We would like to thank you in advance for your support and generosity. The bags we filled last year were a huge blessing to the children who received them. Please see Bro. Jake or Sis. Betsy Zimmerman with any questions.
